Of course there is no waiting room class distinction at German rail stations any more. Maybe it's because there are no waiting rooms at all any more. The interior of the Oldenburg main station not only still shows the sign but also breathes the spirit and the style of bygone times when this distinction was normal, though.

Natürlich gibt es in deutschen Bahnhöfen keine Wartesäle mit Unterscheidung nach Klassen mehr. Vielleicht, weil es überhaupt gar keine Wartesäle mehr gibt. Das Innere des Oldenburger Hauptbahnhofs zeigt aber nicht nur immer noch das Schild, sondern atmet auch den Geist und den Stil der vergangenen Zeiten, als diese Unterscheidung normal war.
